Police members of Thakurgaon Sadar Police station have become active against social crimes, including eve-teasing, child marriage, suicide, militancy, drug, cheating in Facebook and bKash scam. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station started visiting the educational institutions to carry out awareness programmes against the social crimes.
OC Tanvirul Islam led a team of police and went to the students of several institutions on Thursday. He visited many schools of Singra under Thakurgaon including Salandar high school, Bhulomni Degree College, Arazi Krishnapur Primary school and instructed the students to increase awareness against eve-teasing, Facebook fraudulent, bKash fraudulent, Child marriage, militancy, drugs, suicidal cases and many other social crimes.
The OC disclosed his phone number to the students to contact in case of emergency.
