Temperature rise forecast

A possibility of rain had been prevailing in the country for the past few days, but it is not there now. 

At the same time, the temperature may increase further in the next three days, said the Meteorological Department.

According to the forecast of the Met office, the weather could remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies for the next 24 hours from 9am on Saturday. 

Light to moderate fog may occur in river basins across the country from late night to early morning. During this time, the night temperature will remain unchanged and the day temperature may rise slightly.

On Saturday, the lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 11.6 degrees Celsius in Tentulia which was 14.8 degrees Celsius the day before. The temperature in Dhaka rose from 19.5 degrees Celsius to 20.1 degrees Celsius.

The country's temperature may rise further in the next 72 hours, the Meteorological Department said.

According to meteorologists, up to 72 hours of weather forecast is more acceptable. After 72 hours there may be some variation in time and place in terms of forecasting information.

Earlier, the Meteorological Department had said that the temperature would rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country from February 25, and the minimum temperature will remain between 11 and 19 degrees Celsius.
