Police recovered the hanging body of a teenage girl from Lalbagh area in the capital on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Sharmin Akter, 15, resident of Bourazar area in Shahidnagar.
Brother-in-law of the deceased Abdur Razzak said Sharmin committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling following family dispute.
Later, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctor declared her dead.
