A 14-year-old girl who was gang-raped in Jashore has given birth to a baby girl. She gave birth to a baby girl at Jashore General Hospital on Sunday morning.
The girl was violated by three youths in Daulatdihi village of Jashore Sadar upazila in 7 March this year.
The mother of the girl, who is in Jashore General Hospital, said, the teenage girl, was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning due to childbirth pains.
She gave birth a baby girl at around 5 am on Sunday. The girl's mother added, ‘we are poor people.’ Dr Akhtaruzzaman, the caretaker of Jashore General Hospital, said that the teenage mother and her child are fine now.Jashore Kotwali Police Station OC Tajul Islam said, A case of gang rape has been registered.
