RAB arrested teenage gang leader Hamka Raju with a foreign pistol from his house at Chandgaon area in Chattogram city on Wednesday.
Sohail Mahmud, a senior RAB official, confirmed the matter.
Raju Badsha alias Hamka Raju, 32, is son of Nurul Alam Member of the area.
RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) Md Mahmudul Hasan Mamun said that a foreign pistol and three rounds of ammunition were recovered from him. He was handed over to Chandgaon police station.
Sohail Mahmud said they raided Raju's house at night on the basis of secret information. He turned off the lights during the operation and tried to escape, but was arrested from the toilet of his home. According to the information, he later showed, an electric shock bottom with 1 foreign pistol and 3 rounds of ammunition was recovered from the back of the television box.
