Gabtoli Technical College has been inaugurated to promote technical education in Bogura. It is the first technical educational institution in the upazila.
The college was inaugurated on Saturday at 12 noon by BNP Chairperson's Advisor and former MP Helaluzzaman Talukder Lalu.
The inauguration ceremony, chaired by the founder and former mayor of the institution, Saiful Islam, was addressed by Deputy Director of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Faruk Ahmed, former convener of Gabtoli Thana BNP, Bir Muktijoddha Abul Hossain Molla, General Secretary of the District Zia Parishad, Principal Yusuf Ali, General Secretary of Gabtoli Municipality BNP, Abdur Rahim Pintu, Principal of Gabtoli Women's College, Nur Alam Siddiqui, Assistant Professor of Syed Ahmed College, Munjurul Alam Russell. BNP leader Anwar Hossain was present at the event, where leaders of the party's affiliates and affiliates were present.
The chief guest of the event, former MP Helaluzzaman Talukder Lalu, said, "If Allah the Almighty wills and if the people of the country trust BNP in the next election, Begum Khaleda Zia will be the President and Mr. Tarique Rahman will be the Prime Minister of Bangladesh." To bring BNP to power, leaders and activists must stay away from all greed and lust, dedicate themselves, and prepare for the next election. Tarique Rahman must be made the Prime Minister to prevent irregularities and corruption in the country. He called on leaders and activists to work together.
Former Mayor Saiful Islam said, Gabtoli Upazila, the birthplace of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, has been deprived of development for a long time. Under the leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, this upazila will be developed as an educational city.
