A teacher named Abdul Rahim Master was killed by a sand-laden tractor on Sarail-Nasirnagar Lakhai regional road. The accident took place in front of the cow market in the upazila's headquarters on Saturday afternoon. The deceased Rahim Master is the son of late Abdul Ahtat of Badda Para village in Sadar upazila and he was a teacher of Sarail Rahmatulil Alamin Dakhil Madrasa.
Sarail police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Emranul Islam confirmed the matter of the incident and said that madrasah teacher Abdul Rahim was walking in front of the cow market when a careless tractor from the side overcame him. He died on the spot. The tractor has been seized after the incident. But the driver is absconding. He also said that legal action will be taken after post-mortem .
