Tax-free market for farmers inaugurated in Natore

A 'Farmers' Market' aiming to market directly the agricultural products of the farmers has been inaugurated at Natore on Friday morning. 

Unlike other markets, initiated by Natore Municipality and the District Agriculture Department, this market has been set up under the directive of Agriculture Marketing Department. Shafiqul Islam Shimul, Member of Parliament of Natore inaugurated this Tax Free market at Puratan Bus Stand of the town.

Among others, the inaugural function of the market was attended by Mohammad Shahreaz, Deputy Commissioner of Natore, Subrata Kumar Sarker, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture Extension and Shariful Islam Ramjan, Chairman of Zila Parishad, Natore . 

Farmers will be able to sell their products direct from the market in every Friday and on Saturday. No tax will be imposed upon any farmer at the market for selling their products.

Farmers at the market informed, they were highly pleased to sell direct their products at the market without paying any tax. They hailed such a nice initiative of the government. 

Member of Parliament Shafiqul Islam Shimul informed, the tax free market in Natore has been inaugurated to ensure just price of farm products of the farmers.

Deputy Commisisoner of Natore Mohammad Shah Reaz informed, the market has been inaugurated to retain interest of the farmers so that they get the appropriate price of their products and at the same time the customers will also be able to purchase fresh farm products at a reasonable price.
