Bangladesh paceman Taskin Ahmed on Wednesday said he is eager to play in all three formats of cricket.

Taskin believes he is young and can participate in all three formats for the country. Right-arm pacer also said that the latter was disappointed to miss out on matches due to injuries.

“Haven’t really thought of such a thing. I'm still young. When I become a senior, the board will decide which one I should play or not. Personally, I want to play in all three formats,” said Taskin.

“As a player, I will definitely feel disappointed. When I get down to play, some matches will be good, some matches will be bad. But when I get to play, I try my best and when I become fit, I can give my best. It feels bad when I can't play, but there is nothing to do. I want to follow the process that is in control,” he added.

Taskin will miss the upcoming two-match Test series against the West Indies with a shoulder injury, he also missed the recently concluded Sri Lanka series.

However, the 27-year-old will be available to play the white-ball games, beginning from July.

The white ball segment of the series against West Indies begins with T20Is and the first two T20Is will be playing in Dominica on 2 and 3 July respectively while the third will be played in Guyana on 7 July.

Three ODIs are also scheduled in Guyana on 10, 13, and 16 July.
