Legendary singer Tapan Chowdhury and Rabindra Sangeet singer Anima Roy will sing at the same stage on Saturday evening at the Boshonto Utshob. The Boshonto Utshob will be held at the MP Hostel Auditorium, organized by members of parliament. Tapan Chowdhury said, ‘Anima is a talented Rabindra Sangeet artiste. Her voice is my favorite.
Hopefully the Boshonto Utshob will be the celebrated in a grand manner through songs. Since it is spring and the month of love, naturally everyone wants to hear romantic songs. Te evening will be spent with mostly love songs. '
Regarding the event, Anima Roy said, ‘I have performed on multiple occasions before in events organized by the MPs. But this time, I get to perform with Tapan da which is a great pleasure. I will sing romantic songs of Rabindranath. The quality of the event is always spectacular.’ Anima Roy will also sing live on Channel i’s show ‘Gaan Diye Shuru’ on February 16th.
