Superintendent of Police (SP) of Tangail Sanjit Kumar Roy has distributed food items among the transport workers who have lost their jobs due to coronavirus on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Food items were distributed among more than 700 workers at the Tangail Collectorate Girls' High School and College grounds on Saturday morning. Shahidul Islam, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Tangail, was present as the chief guest while Shafiqul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police, Md. Shahinul Islam Fakir, Rezaur Rahman Reza, Mir Mosharraf Hossain, OC of Sadar Police Station and Golam Kibria Bara Moni Secretary General District Bus Minibus Owners Association and others were present at the time.
Each was given five KGs of rice, two KGs of pulses, one KG of semai, one KG of sugar and one liter of soybean oil.
