Tamim Iqbal wants Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, one of the best captains in the history of Bangladesh, as the Tigers’ mentor in the 2023 World Cup. Mashrafe also said that it is difficult to say 'No' to this kind of proposal.

ODI captain Tamim has expressed his interest on the “Nagad presents the Tamim Iqbal show” as the former captain also said that he won’t deny it for the country.

“Honestly, it's hard for me not to do anything for the country. But I don't think the team need a mentor now. It is not needed now. However, if it is necessary for the country, it is really difficult to say ‘no’ in my case,” said Mashrafe.
