Bangladesh stalwart Mushfiqur Rahim completed 7000 ODI runs during the second ODI against Ireland on Monday.
Mushfiqur took 224 matches to reach the landmark, he is also the third Bangladeshi batter to achieve the feat after Tamim Iqbal and Shakib al Hasan.
Mushfiqur fired with an unbeaten 60-ball hundred to propel Bangladesh post a 350-run target which is their current highest total in ODIs.
While veteran Tamim also reached the milestone of 15000 International runs in the same match.
Left-handed batter Tamim is the only Bangladesh batter to have achieved the feat, he is also the highest run-scorer for the Bangladesh team.
The 34 year turned cricketer managed to score 23 runs on his special day, he has accumulated 15009 runs with this inning.
After being sent to bat first on a green and damp surface Bangladesh were on the backfoot but openers Tamim and Litton Das played cautious innings to handle the early pressure.
However, the captain departed on 23 runs when he was run out by Mark Adair. Overall, Tamim has scored 8126 runs in 235 ODIs, in 69 Test matches he scored 5082 and in the shortest format, he swiped 1758 runs.
