Member of Parliament from Sylhet-3 constituency and Sylhet District Awami League (AL) Vice-President Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury passed away while undergoing treatment at the United Hospital in the city on Thursday afternoon.
He was 69.
He left behind his wife, one son, political admirers and relatives to mourn his death.
