‘Swapno Biliye Jai’ dedicated to Prithwi Raj


‘Swapno Biliye Jai’, a TV drama dedicated to popular singer and musician Prithwi Raj will be aired on Maasranga TV today at 9:00pm. 

The drama is directed by Towfique Elahi and features Manoj Pramanik, Azmeri Asha, Majnun Mizan and Mushfiq R Farhan in the main roles. 

The drama tells the story of a Canadian NRB Tomal. Working on a research project on child rights, Tomal explores old Dhaka for street children.  

During the expedition Tomal meets Biva and both fall in love with each other. However, Mahmud, the business tycoon hinders their dream.  

The drama depicts fate of Tomal and Biva’s love story that essentially revolves around money and muscle power.

The late popular singer and musician Prithwi Raj has tuned and sung the song ‘Eki Ghor’ in this drama. 

He says, “Eki Ghor is my first song that I have written. Prithwi had nicely composed musical based on the motif I demanded in the song. Prithwi had also composed music in my short film. It is really sad of his early death. I dedicate this TV drama to him.”
