Sunny Leone and her family have returned to Mumbai after spending a few months at her home in Los Angeles, just in time to celebrate Christmas here. From putting up the Xmas tree and decorating it with beautiful embellishments to having her kids’ closets stocked with presents, the actress has done the best she could to bring about the festive spirit at home.
This year, it’s extra special, as Sunny is working on a project with daughter Nisha. She says, “Nisha is five years old now, and I thought it was the right time to explain to her what Christmas meant. I didn’t want her to feel that the festival is all about receiving gifts. So, I also told her the story of Saint Nicholas, and the project that she’s working on is based on his teachings.”
Shedding more light on it, Sunny shares, “Saint Nicholas is someone who gave presents to those who probably never got them. I asked Nisha to think about what she wanted to do and for whom, anonymously, without expecting a thank you in return. That’s what Saint Nicholas did! She responded to the idea very well; she is a very mature child for her age. It was time to teach her about generosity towards other people, and what better time than now.” Ask her about her boys, Asher and Noah, and she says, “They are two-and-a-half years old and just like most boys are (laughs!). —Times of India
