The country is going back to normal condition even though the Awami League government was overthrown by the anti-discriminatory student movement. The pressure of vehicles in various roads is less due to that. However, the pressure of vehicles is increasing as offices and factories are open.
Many of the students had brooms and polythene bags in their hands and they were cleaning the garbage from the road. Some students were working to control the traffic. Some others were painting the walls and roads with colors and brushes, writing for the demand of justice for those who were killed in the quota reform movement, as well as compassionate notes for them. Students of various colleges arranged food and water on their own initiative in these activities. They were stopping motorcyclists without helmets and instructing them not to ride motorcycles without helmet and telling the drivers of battery-run auto rickshaws not to come to the main road.

They said the students will continue these services till the country returns to normal condition.
The students said this is our country. So it is our responsibility to protect the environment of this country. There are no members of the law enforcement forces at present. So, we took the responsibility and came to control the traffic on the major roads of Chattogram. We have claimed our rights together. Severe damages were done across the country amid the violence during the movement. Now, we have to rebuild these, they added.
They were doing the work of traffic police voluntarily and with joy. Their fellow students have divided themselves in various groups who will participate in this work from the next day. They said we want to leave these work as an example. Those who will govern the country later should keep these tasks in mind and govern the country with integrity.
The drivers said they are happy to see the students controlling the traffic on their own initiative. They had to pay the extortionists when they used to drive earlier.
