State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Murad Hassan said Sheikh Hasina's government is working to implement various programmes including job creation to improve the lot of the people which could not be done in such a short time at any other time.
“Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman broke the shackles of subjugation and inspired the people of Bangladesh with the mantra of independence. Bangabandhu has made the country geographically independent and Bangladesh is moving towards economic liberation under the leadership of his worthy daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”, he added.
He also added that Bangladesh is now a country of emerging prosperity in the world. Today Bangladesh is on the highway of development. No one will be able to control the development of Bangladesh.
Strict action will be taken against anyone who loots or tries to loot with the money allocated for the development of this country.
He said this while laying the foundation stone of Advocate Badruddoza Road at Dholviti Bazar of Doail Union in Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur on Friday morning.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Upma Farisa, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Faizul Wasima Nahat, Municipal Mayor Monir Uddin, Doyle UP Chairman Nasir Uddin Ratan, Tarakandi Truck and Tanklory Owners Association President Mozammel Haque, Workers Union President Abdur Rahim and other workers of Awami League and its affiliated organisations were present at the time.
