We strongly condemn and protest the Israel’s strike at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City. More than 500 wounded Palestinians who were undergoing treatment at the hospital met the tragic end of their lives in the strike.
This is cruel, monstrous and barbaric. This strike was one of the deadliest attacks on a hospital in decades. The mass killing at the hospital has already spurred widespread international condemnation and protests at Israeli embassies in several countries in the world.
Several lakhs people continued protesting in different countries across the globe over the deadly strike on a Gaza hospital. It is a ‘despicable crime’.
Targeting medical and civilian facilities is a war crime. This aggression must stop. This crime has exceeded all limits, and we are calling on all countries of the world and the great powers in particular, to put an end to these crimes and to open corridors to bring humanitarian aid into the besieged sector.
Bangladesh is a peace-loving nation which does not want war. So, the peace-loving people of the country do not want to see killing of civilians especially women, innocent children and elderly people.
The women and children are the worst sufferers of the war. Bangladesh had the experience of the dreadfulness of the war. As conflict continues to ravage Gaza, pregnant women in the enclave are facing unprecedented challenges. The recent Israeli airstrikes have left expectant mothers fearing for the safety of their unborn children and their own lives, according to international news agencies.

According to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), there are approximately 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza, with 10 percent of them expected to give birth in the coming month. These women are facing a ‘double nightmare’ right now.
The world has been witnessing the war ---firstly the Russia-Ukraine war and now Israeli attack on the Palestine. So, we are urging the world leaders to take immediate step to ‘stop this tragedy immediately’.
Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is constantly calling upon the global leaders to stop the war, saying the women and children are the worst sufferers of the war. Therefore, the game of arms and the arms competition must stop.
We are also accusing Israel of a ‘war crime’. There are no words to fully express our condemnation of Israel’s strike at hospital. An unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe is unfolding under our eyes. But the head of the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees said his agency was no longer able to provide humanitarian assistance and that the number of people seeking shelter in schools and other facilities in southern Gaza exceeded capacity. Israel has been bombing targets in Gaza since Hamas militants from the territory attacked southern Israel on October 7, triggering a war which has left thousands of dead on both sides. Around 3,000 people have since been killed in Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip.
When the world is going through tough times, Sheikh Hasina’s call may unite the international community to prevent and end the conflict. We are seeing that trust is crumbling, inequalities are exploding and our planet is burning.
But, if the world leaders take the issue seriously and hold discussions in order to find a way out to end the war at any cost, we people will be able to overcome the crisis. Therefore, determined and bold leadership is required right now in this regard. The world leaders must pay heed to Sheikh Hasina’s call and take collective efforts to stop the war. Every country in the world should realise her (Sheikh Hasina) call and continue to move ahead tirelessly to this end.
We believe the international community must work as one, as a coalition of the world in order to stop the war, human sufferings and achieve global peace and security for the well-being of humanity.
