We strongly condemn and protest Israel's 'barbaric attacks' against Palestinians and call for an immediate halt to “all heinous acts” in a bid to save lives there.

We are saddened, worried and concern over the Israeli brutality that has crossed all the barbarism of the past as it continues pummeling the Palestinian enclave, launching air strikes across the densely populated territory. The Israel forces have unleashed a reign of terror across Palestine, killing innocent devotees and civilian people—women, children and old men there without previous warning.

At least 154 people including 58 children were killed and more than 1,200 people injured at Gaza from May 10 to till Monday. Besides, some 10,000 Palestinians have fled homes near the Israeli border for fear of a ground offensive. Apart from killing people, the Israeli air strike in Gaza also continues destroying homes, buildings and other important establishments.

The international community must come forward to find

a peaceful solution to the Palestine crisis

in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions

We think this is one of the most horrific incidents of violence committed against unarmed civilians during the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. No argument can justify the disruption of prayer by the worshippers and breach of international humanitarian laws and human rights standards.

Several lakhs of people in many foreign countries including Bangladesh are staging demonstrations calling for an end to the repeated violation of human rights and international humanitarian principles in Palestine by the occupying Israeli forces.

However, it is very unfortunate when we see most influential world leaders, especially heads of the states and governments of different foreign countries remain silent on the issue.

We think the international community must come forward to find a peaceful solution to the Palestine crisis in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions, the Arab Peace Initiative, and the Quartet Road Map.
