Stoke patriotism to get rid of corruption: SUST VC

The university administration has organized an anti-corruption training workshop for the teachers and staff of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).

The workshop on national reform, implementation and anti-corruption was held on Sunday (December 18) in the conference room of the university's administrative building.

University Vice Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest. In the speech of the chief guest, the Vice-Chancellor said that the main obstacle to establishing good governance is corruption. 

Integrity, accountability and patriotism must be awakened at the institutional and individual levels to break free from its stranglehold. It is possible to get rid of it if everyone faithfully fulfills the responsibility assigned to him.Bangladesh Teachers Federation President Professor Dr. Akhtarul Islam was present as the main speaker on the program. 

The treasurer of the university Md. Anwarul Islam was present as a special guest. Syndicate members among others Professor Dr. Md. Mustabur Rahman, Professor Dr. Md. Ariful Islam, Professor Dr. Rahmat Ali, Professor Dr. Md. Azizul Baten & Professor Dr. Farzana Siddiqa was also present.
