Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RPMP) Commissioner Md. Moniruzzaman on Wednesday requested the solvent people of the society to help underprivileged children.
He urged all to work for improving the quality of life of the distressed children. He made these remarks while addressing a painting competition for underprivileged children Rangpur railway station platform marking the National Mourning Day in Rangpur city.
He declared Rangpur railway station and its surrounding area as drug free.
He warned against those involved in drugs smuggling and abusing drugs.
The RPMP boss also assured them of cooperation if needed. RPMP authority also distributed nutritious food distribution among the children. RMP organized the event in cooperation with Zoom Bangladesh’s Rangpur unit. RPMP Commissioner Md. Moniruzzaman was present as the chief guest.
RPMP Deputy Commissioners Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, Kazi Muttaki Ibn Minan and among others were present.
