In all indicators this year the examinees have performed worse than last year.  Board officials said that the pass rate and GPA-5 have decreased due to full time and examination in all subjects.

Female students are ahead in increasing GPA 5.  Compared to last year, their GPA has decreased by 7,214 points.  In the backward hilly areas under the Chattogram Education Board, the pass rate has also decreased compared to last year.

Chattogram Education Board Examination Controller Narayan Chandra Nath said that the pass rate has decreased compared to the last three years.  But relatively overall results of Chattogram Education Board is good.  Because previous three years due to Corona, the exam was conducted with short syllabus.  This year the average result has been affected as the exam is full syllabus but overall it is better than last year.

Those who gave SSC exam this time, they were JSC exam candidates in 2020.  There was no JSC exam at that time.  Due to which they are a bit behind when they come to SSC.  As compared to other subjects, the examinees did worse in mathematics this time.  Besides this, as always, the three hill regions also have an influence.  But still we are happy with the result of our board.  In the overall result this time we have managed to top some boards.
