An SSC examinee named Lovely Aktar, 15, was allegedly abducted from Dhunat Government NU Pilot High School exam center in Bogura on Tuesday (March 3). The student's father Lalu Mondal filed a written complaint at Dhunat Police Station accusing Sabuj Mia of Jaisingh village of the upazila on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, Sabuj Mia, 18, son of Rafiqul Islam, of Jaisingh village, had been offering love to Lovely Akhter, an SSC examinee from Sonhata High School for a long time. Finally, Sabuj Mia was enraged by her refusal to the love proposal. On last Tuesday when Lovely got out of the exam center Sabuj Mia and some of associates tactfully forced her into a CNG-powered auto rickshaw. Since then the girl has been missing.
Officer-in-Charge Ismail Hossain of Dhunat Police Station said, “We have received a complaint of an SSC examinee being abducted. Legal actions will be taken after investigating the matter.”
