The 50th founding anniversary of Jatiya Sramik League, a trade union body affiliated with the ruling Aawami League, was observed in Keshabpur on Saturday.
To mark the day, the leaders of the organization placed wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the office of District Awami League. Later, cake cutting and discussion meeting was held in front of party office.
Asst-organising secretary of Jessore Zilla Jatiya Sramik League Mafijur Rahman Khan presided over the meeting and cut a cake.
At that time, Workers’ leader Mijanur Rahman, Faruk Hossain, Rejaul Karim, Jahangir Hossain, Ali Hossain, Montu, Ayub Ali, Wadud, Neemai, Mansur along with others were also present.
