On behalf of Mohammad Ebadul Karim Bulbul, MP, sports equipment were distributed at Nabinagar upazila in Brahmanbaria.
The sports items were distributed through a function held at conference room of Nabinagar Upazila Parishad on Sunday.
To free the youth from drugs and terrorism, the Ministry of Youth and Sports provided 21 sports items including football, cricket, badminton, chess, volleyball and carom to various sports organizations including schools and colleges at the time.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Nabinagar Mohammad Masum presided over the function and Upazila Parishad Chairman Mohammad Moniruzzaman Monir was present as the chief guest.
Organizing Secretary of Nabinagar upazila Awami League Shafiqul Islam, Youth and Sports Secretary Nasir Uddin, Sreerampur UP Chairman Azhar Hossain Jamal, journalists and leaders of various organisations were present.
The speakers called upon the youths and students to refrain from drug addiction.
