Acting Divisional Commissioner of Khulna Subash Chandra Saha has said only sport can keep everyone healthy. To make oneself a better person, it is important to study as well as participate in sports. Moreover, sports also helps to develop student’s intellect. Along with the boys, girls are also moving forward equally in sports, he added.
He said these while speaking at the opening ceremony of annual sports competition of Khulna Zilla School held on the school premises on Thursday. Subash Chandra Saha inaugurated the competition as chief guest.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Khulna Mohammad Helal Hossain presided over the programme while Director of Secondary and Higher Education Division’s Khulna region Prof Sheikh Harunar Rashid attended the function as special guest. Headmaster of the school Farhana Naz delivered the welcome speech.
