The annual sports competition of Gerda AF Mujibur Rahman High School was held on the school premises in Faridpur sadar upazila on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Faridpur Atul Sarker inaugurated the sports competition as the chief guest.
President of school managing committee Syed Mokarram Ali presided over the inaugural ceremony, while it was addressed, among others, by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Sadar upazila Md Masum Reza, representative of AF Mujibur Rahman Foundation Lona T Rahman and headmaster of the school Nazrul Islam.
Later, the guests enjoyed a cultural event, performed by students of the school.
