The meeting of the 29th Finance Committee of Southern University Bangladesh was held on Saturday afternoon in the conference room of the permanent campus Bayezid Arefin Nagar.
Chairman of the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees Khalilur Rahman presided over the function. The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Engineer Mohammad Mozammel Haque, Trust Vice Chairman Md. Liaquat Ali Chowdhury, Shafiq Uddin, Board of Trustees Member Abdus Salam, Treasurer Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman, Prof. Dr. Md. Shawkatul Meher, Prof. Dr. Saleh Zahur, Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Das.
Treasurer Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman presented the overall minutes of the meeting to the members present.
The main discussions discussed various issues including confirmation of steps taken and proposals of 28th meeting, recording of working papers and decisions of meeting of finance committee, budget for 2022-23 fiscal year, progress of work of inquiry committee formed at 28th meeting of finance committee, increase in income of university.
President Khalilur Rahman announced the end of the meeting, hoping to work in unison to take the university on the path to greater success in the future.
