Masud Rana, Assistant Programmer, Information and Communication Technology Department, Ishwardi Upazila, Pabna, has developed a modern software called 'Central TCB Management System' to prevent the same person from buying TCB food products more than once. He was assisted by Ishwardi Upazila Administration.

Transparency can be brought in selling products through this technology. Monitoring activities will be easier. Product distribution database will be created automatically.

Meanwhile, the sale of TCB's food products was inaugurated among the card holders' families in Sara Union of the upazila on Sunday. Nuruzzaman Biswas, Member of Parliament for Pabna-4 (Ishwardi-Atgharia) constituency inaugurated the event. Upazila Chairman Naib Ali Biswas, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Rahsin Kabir, Samra UP Chairman Emdadul Haque Rana Sardar and others were present on the occasion.

According to the upazila administration, apart from TCB's food products, various food-friendly programs of the government can also be monitored through this technology.

Assistant programmer Masud Rana said the speed decreases when the number of users on the country's online sites is high. As a result, work cannot be done in case of emergency. But there is no fear of slowing down this software.  It can be used by one lakh people per second. He added that a mobile app has also been created from this software. The results will be known only after scanning and submitting the card and the report will be updated centrally.

The official said that various humanitarian assistance activities of the government can also be conducted through this software.

Ishwardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Imrul Kayes said it was a timely innovation. Proposals have already been sent for use across the country. There is no scope for fraud in the use of this technology. He said about 19,000 families in Ishwardi have received initial approval for TCB cards.
