Band music is one of the major contributors to the music scene in Bangladesh. Especially from the nineties, the band music has added to the music industry. One of the popular bands of that time was ‘Soft Touch’. Some young people with dreams started the ‘Soft Touch’ band. That was in the year 1991. An album of the band was also released in 2000. The band’s activities were going well until 2002. Suddenly the activities of this band stopped. The band members are busy with their own careers.
After one and a half decade, the band ‘Soft Touch’ has returned once again. This is said by one of the band’s most popular music director, singer Suman Kalyan.
They have already appeared on several stage shows and television shows.
The band’s lineup includes Suman Kalyan (vocal and guitar), Sumar Barua (bass guitar and band leader), Tisa Dewan (vocal), Auny (guitar and vocal), and Sohel (drums).
About this, Suman Kalyan said, “After a long time, this band has once again started from the place of love. We were all reunited with the pull of something really good. We have already had a good response by attending several events. Hopefully our reunion will be successful with the help of everyone. We hope to release new songs from the band within a few days.”
