Helal Akbor Chowdhury Babor, former finance affairs secretary of central Awami Jubo League, said social harmony is the key to national development.
Babor, also inventor of corona prevention booth, observed that a peaceful society is imperative for any kind of development and it is ensured by harmony, which ultimately motivates people to take part in national development.
A society based on tolerance and secularism can ensure peaceful co-existence of all the communities, and it is well established in Bangladesh now, he added.
He said this while addressing as a special guest at a festival of Sree Sree Jagannath Dev at Nandonkanon in Chattogram.
Sreemod Bhaktipriyom Gadadhor Goswami Maharaj, principal of ISKCON Rangpur and senior vice president of ISKCON Bangladesh, inaugurated the event, which was organized by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), recently.
