Local people of Kapasia killed a snake bearing two-legs. Hearing the news, many people rushed to watch the 12-foot long dead snake with two legs at Pabu village under Kapasia of Gazipur.
It is learnt, a farmer near discovered the snake at a place between Dewan and Khan of Pabu village and killed it by charging sticks. After killing the snake, two legs were reportedly found to emerge from inside the stomach of the snake. Hearing the news of discovery of a snake with controversial two legs, many people rushed there to have a look at it.
Yeasin Mahmud, an eye witness said, he never heard that any snake can contain legs but he witnessed it himself. Shams Bin Sharif, an expert in snake research termed the incident as totally false and fabricated. By watching the photograph he identifes the dead snake as a common 'Rat Snake' and said, by no way any question may arise of bearing any leg of the snake.
He mentioned, snake can never have any leg. Might be the snake had consumed any frog or rat and during beating the snake with sticks, legs of that consumed animal had emerged by piercing stomach and skin of the snake.
