Dhaka Metropolitan Police claimed that six lady drug peddlers are mainly supplying drugs on home service basis.
They also sell drugs moving in different places of the capital Dhaka.
After arresting six female drug traders on Monday night, police made the claimed. However, Bangladesh Post could not independently verify the claimed.
Police said, during a special anti-drug operation, Tejgaon Thana Police nabbed the female drug traders in connection with drug smuggling in different places of the capital Dhaka. There are several cases against them in various police stations of the DMP.
They were identified as Sonia Akter, 27, Malni ,24, Suborna, 19, Shohagi Begum, 23, Mim,23 and Salma, 24. Inspector Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-in-charge of Tejgaon Police Station said, these drug peddlers were earlier arrested several times. But they again involved in illegal drug trading after getting bail, the OC said. Salma is wanted in 11 cases, Mim in 5 case, Shohagi in 4 cases, Sonia in 2 cases while Malni is in one case.
