Shopping malls closed again in Naogoan

Within a week of reopening of the Shopping Malls and markets, district administration of Naogaon has once again ordered to close down all those reopened shopping malls, markets and trading centres in Naogaon on Saturday evening. 

It is learnt, due to non maintenance of health rules and social distance, Harun-ur-Rashid, Deputy Commissioner of Naogoan has circulated a public notice to keep close all the shopping malls from Saturday evening once again. 

The notice said, aiming to ease trouble of the shoppers during the holy Ramadan and the holy Eid-ul-fitre, decision was taken to reopen various shops, business establishments and markets of the district following proper health rules and social distances. 

But, after visiting the markets during last couples of days, it was noticed both the customers and the traders were not even following 90 percent of terms and condition of maintaining health and hygiene. 

So, considering the risk of spread of Coronavirus and risk of death of the people, district administration has taken up a decision to keep all sort of shops and business establishments of Naogaon shut down once again from Sunday morning (Saturday evening). 

The notice further mentioned, the shops of essential services including the groceries, green-grocers' market and drug stores will remain out of purview of this restrictions.

Deputy Commisisoner Harun-ur-Rashid further informed, in accordance with the government decision, hats, markets, shopping malls and trading centres of the district were allowed to keep open maintaining certain terms and conditions from 10-00 am to 4-00 pm from May-10 where wearing of musks, hand gloves, cleaning of hands and maintaining social distance was a must. 

But, none was seen to follow the restrictions, as a result, decision of closure of the shopping malls, markets and trading centres was taken again till further order.
