Shithi collaborates with Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali

Bangladeshi singer Sithi Saha and internationally acclaimed musical maestro Shafqat Amanat Ali has come to light for the classical song titled "Raat Jaga Pakhi". 

For the first time Pakistani singing sensation Shafqat Amanat Ali has voiced a Bengali song. In the lyric and tune of Indraadip Dasgupta, their first-ever music video titled 'Raat Jaga Pakhi' has been released worldwide. On Thursday evening a launching programme was held at the Capital's Impetus Lounge presented by Meril, a brand of Square Toiletries Limited.

Honourable Member of the Parliament, and legendary cultural figure Asaduzzaman Noor decorated the chair of the chief guest of the ceremony. Chairman of Square Group Mr Samuel S Chowdhury attended the ceremony as a special guest. Renowned musician, popular actor Omor Sani along with many more popular faces of our cultural arena was also present in the ceremony. 

The music video of the track has been directed by Shahrear Polock. It features actor ABM Sumon and Shithi. Video direction has been handled by Prekkhagriho Visual Factory.

The song "Raat Jaga Pakhi'' along with a soft toned classical themed video is available to watch at Shithi's official YouTube channel.

After the inauguration, Shithi mesmerised the audience by performing in some of her original tracks.

Shithi's debut album "Kichhu Bolbo Bole", a compilation of Tagore songs, was released in 2005. She made her playback debut with Ferdous Wahid in the Mostofa Kamal Raz directorial film "Projapoti".

The multi-faceted artiste, besides singing, anchors television shows and acts occasionally.
