Dr Shireen Akhter has been appointed as VC Chittagong University. She has been acting VC for the last five months. On Sunday, with the approval of the President Abdul Hamid, an order was issued from the Education Ministry in this regard. CU Acting Registrar KM Noor Ahmed said, ‘We have received a copy of the order’.
