‘Sheikh Hasina’s leadership must be strengthened for country’s progress’

Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) celebrated the 77th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. On the occasion, the CVASU authorities organised various programmes.

The programmes include banner display, campus decoration with banners and festoons on the achievements of HPrime Minister and progress of Bangladesh, tree plantation, joy rally, street meeting, cake cutting, special prayer for good health and longevity of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, food distribution and drama show.

Vice-Chancellor of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) Professor Dr. ASM Lutful Ahsan planted 'Palash' flower saplings on the university campus.  

After that a joyous rally was taken out under the leadership of the VC.  University teachers, officials, students and employees participated in the rally.

In a brief discussion at the end of the rally, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Lutful Ahsan said, “Today is the birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.  

On behalf of the CVASU family, I wish him all the best.”

He said, under the strong leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the country is on the highway of development today. Under her able leadership, the country has achieved amazing progress.  Bangladesh is a role model for development today.

He also said that Prime Minister has brightened the image of the country to the world by constructing the Padma Bridge with his own funding. “She gave us the country’s first elevated expressway and metro rail. The country’s first Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel under the Karnaphuli River is waiting for its inauguration,” he added. 

Professor Dr. ASM Lutful Ahsan said that the government led by Sheikh Hasina is working tirelessly to build a hunger-poverty-free, developed-rich Bangladesh as dreamed by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.  To continue this progress of the country, the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must be strengthened, he said.
