Sheikh Hasina Hall was inaugurated at Meherpur Govt College for girl students on Saturday.
State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain inaugurated the five storied hall built at a cost of Taka 5.26 crore.
A simple function was held on the occasion on the college premises. Deputy Commissioner of Meherpur Ataul Goni, Principal of the college Professor Shofiul Islam Sadrder, teacher’s leader Fuad Khan, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Masudul Alam, district Education Officer Subrata Pal and Associate Professor Abdullah Al Amin were, among others, present.
Farhad Hossain expressed his happiness inaugurating the hall named after Sheikh Hasina.
He called upon all to make efforts to materialize the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh in line with Vision-2021 and Vision-2041 and the 100-year Delta Plan-2100 designed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
