Nazmul Hossain Shanto will draw the highest amount as his monthly salary when Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) approved the 1st class cricketers salary contract for 2024 with 85 players receiving contracts.
Meanwhile, the Board approved the national players’ central contract 2024 with 21 cricketers have been included in the contract (the attached file contains the names of the cricketers) when the Board also approved the 1st Class Cricketers Salary Contract for 2024 with 85 players receiving contracts.
According to the BCB new salary structure - Nazmul Hossain Shanto will draw Taka 9,10,000 when Shakib Al Hassan will draw second highest amount Taka 7,90,000 when Mushfiqur Rahim will draw 6,50,000, Liton Das 6,05000, Taskin 5,75000, Mehidy Hassan Miraz 5,50,000 and Shoriful are the other five cricketers will draw above taka five lakhs per month as their monthly salary with Taijul 4,50,000, Mahmudullah 4,00,000, Mustafiz 2,87,500, Towhid Hridoy 2,62,500, Hasan Mahmud 2,00,000, Nurul Hassan Shohan 1,75,000, Mahmudul Hassan 1,75,000, Khaled Ahmed 1,25000, Naim Hassan 1,250000, Nasum Ahmed 1,25000, Sheikh Mehidy 1,00,000 and Tanzim Hasan Sakib 1,00,000.
BCB, also approved the nomination of former national cricket team captain and manage Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu as the convenor of the national selector panel when Nazmul Hossain Shanto was also appointed as the captain of men’s national cricket team for all formats up to the December 2024.
Meanwhile, the special committee of the BCB to assess the performance of the Bangladesh national cricket team in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup India 2023 submitted its findings and recommendations to the BCB President.
Following the findings of the assessment committee the BCB directors approved the salary structure of the players.
