This is probably the first film in the history of Shakib Khan to reach such a fast pace from shooting to release. Superstar Shakib Khan and Young actress Puja Cherry Roy starrer government-grant upcoming film titled 'Golui’ got an uncut release in just three months. Produced by Khorshed Alam Khasru and directed by SA Haque Alik. The news was confirmed on December 28.
Recently after shooting in the riverine areas of Bogra and Jamalpur, the director of the run to distant in New York, USA for dubbing of the hero as Shakib has been in New York for almost a month after taking part in the ‘Channel I Music Awards’.
One of the most talked about films of the year ‘Golui’ which Shakib has finished with an ongoing schedule. Regarding the context director Alik said, 'Alhamdulillah. I got an uncut clearance. I praised the honourable members of the board. Thank you to all the artistes of the team. Special thanks to producer Khorshed Alam Khasru Bhai for allowing the film to be made independently.’
Now the producer is preparing to release the film together in the country and abroad. It is expected that the film will be released on Eid next year. The release date has not been fixed yet. However, the director wants to release the film on a special day or festival.
In the film Shakib is playing the role of a young man from the village name Lalu. For this character, he has made huge changes in his fitness and outfit.
Along with Shakib Khan and Puja Cherry the film also features actors like Azizul Hakim, Shamu Chowdhury, Jhuna Chowdhury and others.
