The last practice session before the start of the Test series against the West Indies was no exception. Shakib Al Hasan, the biggest star of the team, kept the atmosphere light with his fellow cricketers.
The day’s practice started with fitness training at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Tuesday. After that, the cricketers started warm up. Shakib was inside the dressing room. While the rest were warming up, he did fitness training alone for a while.
Then Mushfiqur Rahim started net session. He batted for about 35-40 minutes against Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam and Taskin Ahmed. Shakib got ready and came down. After noticing him, Mushfiqur shortened his net session and gave Shakib the opportunity to bat.
When Mushfiqur came out of the nets, Shakib thanked him. At the same time, he asked everyone around the net to clap for Mushfiqur. After batting for about 25-30 minutes, Shakib left the net for his friend Tamim Iqbal. Then he joined the chat with Mushfiqur and Liton, who were sitting beside the net.
