The much-awaited teaser of Raihan Rafi’s new film Taandob has finally been released. The 1-minute-41-second teaser has already created a buzz among movie lovers with its mysterious and intense visuals.
In the teaser, superstar Shakib Khan appears in a bold new look, confidently walking through flames. This image from the film’s first-look poster had earlier hinted at something big on the way. Now, with the teaser out, audiences are even more curious about the film’s storyline.
One of the most striking moments in the teaser is when Jaya Ahsan is seen pointing a gun at Shakib Khan. Her sharp gaze and confident appearance add a new level of suspense to the film. The teaser also repeatedly features a group wearing monkey masks, adding to the mystery. Why these masks are being worn remains a secret, which director Raihan Rafi promises will be revealed in the full film.
Speaking about the project, Raihan Rafi said, “We’re calling this a forecast — like a storm warning — because Taandob is about to break loose. The term 'forecast' fits perfectly with what’s coming.” After delivering two back-to-back Eid-ul-Azha blockbusters, the director is hopeful this film will also win audiences’ hearts.
Produced by SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited, Taandob is co-produced by leading OTT platform Chorki, with additional support from Deepto. The full cast list will be announced soon, while more promotional clips are expected to be released gradually.
Director Raihan Rafi also hinted at more surprises ahead, promising that Taandob will offer something fresh and exciting for Bangladeshi cinema lovers.
