Ace all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has once again become a father as his wife, Umme Ahmed Shishir, gave birth to a baby boy in Madison city, Wisconsin, United States on Monday morning local time.
Shakib himself has confirmed the matter to Cricfrenzy. Both mother and the child are in good health.
Shakib became the father of her second girl child, Errum Hasan, in April 2020. Shakib and Shishir married in 2012 and their first child, Alaina was born three years later in 2015.
Earlier, Shakib took paternity leave from the New Zealand tour to be with his pregnant wife.
Shakib announced the arrival of his third child on January 1.
In a Facebook post, Shakib gave a picture of himself and his wife Shishir as he wrote “New year, new beginning, new addition. Happy New Year to all.”
After serving a one-year ban imposed by International Cricket Council for failing to report corrupt approach from the bookmakers, Shakib made a flying comeback to international cricket finishing as the man of the Series in the three-match ODI series against West Indies January.
