Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Hatgoplapur Bazer branch in have distribute food assistance among 400 poor and distressed people of the locality on Thursday afternoon.
The food assistances were distributed by the branch manager of the bank Shafiqul Islam Bakhtier when the poor were caught in the lockdown following the global pandemic novel corona virus Jhenaidah district council member Imajul Haque, Advocate Abdur Rashid Biswas, Hatgopalpur police outpost in-charge assistant sub inspector Mohsin Ali, businessmen Arab Ali, Mahiuddin Titu and Shahidul Islam among others remain present.
The distressed family members received 10 kilograms of rice, one kilogram pulse, three kilograms potato, one kilogram of salt and soap. The recipients had expressed their satisfaction over the food assistance distribution when the bank stood by them in severe food crisis following the continuous countrywide lockdown.
