A mobile court in a drive fined seven shops at Dhanbari upazila in Tangail district a total of Tk 3,100 for irregularities on Sunday.
The mobile court, led by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Farah Fateha Takmila conducted the raids at the fruit and vegetable markets of Dhanbari municipality.
The drives were being conducted to control the market and create public awareness during Ramadan and such operations will continue in the upcoming days.
