Seven levels of security for cricketers in Ctg

Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has taken seven levels of security measures for the Bangladesh-Pakistan cricket team's Test match.  CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir told reporters after a law and order preparatory meeting at the CMP Police Commissioner's Office on Thursday afternoon.

He said during the Bangladesh-Pakistan cricket team's visit to Chattogram, cricketers will be provided three levels of security at the Radisson Blu Bay View Chattogram and four levels of security at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium while staying at the hotel.  Security measures include road escort chief, airport security, player movement security duty, hotel centered security, stadium centered security, practice duty, striking reserve force.  Security will be provided by Quick Response Team, SWAT Team and Bomb Disposal Unit. The Bangladesh and Pakistan cricket teams will have 900 police personnel in 7 levels of security.  The white-collar intelligence agency will work with it. The Bangladesh and Pakistan cricket teams will be staying at the Radisson Blu in Chattogram on November 23.  Both teams will practice at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on November 24-25.  The Test match will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium from November 26 to November 30.  After the match, the two teams are scheduled to leave Chattogram for Dhaka on December 1.
