A mobile court team conducted drive at the drug stores of Sharishabari and neighboring Shimla Bazaar under Jamalpur on Wednesday morning.
The mobile court fined seven drug store owners for storing date-expired medicine, unclean environment and running the business without any licences.
Executive Magistrate and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sihab Uddin Ahmed conducted the drive with Divisional Deputy Director of the Drug Administration Shafiqul Islam and Assistant Director Gouri Rani Basak.
During drive, the mobile team fined Tk. 3,000 to Bhai Bhai Medical, Tk. 5,000 to Mahadi Medical Hall, Tk. 2,000 to Bismillah Medical Hall, Tk. 1,000 to Maoa Medicine Corner, Tk. 2,000 to Yousuf Medical Hall, Tk. 2,000 to Bhai Bhai surgical and Medicine and Tk.3,000 to Anjali Pharmacy.
