EEE Department of Southeast University (SEU) and IEEE SEU Student Branch jointly organized a seminar titled “Higher Education and Research Opportunities at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” on Tuesday at 11:30am in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of SEU, Tejgaon permanent campus. Dr Sharif F Zaman, professor, Chemical and Materials Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia spoke at the seminar.
In his talk, Dr Zaman talked about the prospects of higher study with full scholarships at Masters and PhD level at various universities of KSA. He also explained in detail about the various benefits offered by KAU, KSA for international students in MS and PhD programmes under engineering disciplines. In the final part of the seminar, he discussed a few topics related to recent research works on renewable energy, like solar cell, hydrogen fuel cell and nuclear power.
