Woman entrepreneurs in Khulna have demanded seperate market for them to ensure fair price of their products and reach the customers easily.
They made the demand at the inauguration ceremony of a handycraft fair on the premises of Public Hall in Khulna on Sunday.
Rupantar, an NGO, arranged the fair and a discussion on women empowerment.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Khulna Mohammad Helal Hossain inaugurated the fair as the chief guest.
In his speech, the DC said that he will take steps in this regard by next year.
Rupantar’s Executive Director Swapan Kumar Guh presided over the ceremony.
